In the 15 years of knowing Fred, he has represented many different swimming pool and spa related lines which I have purchased. I have dealt with many sales representatives over the past 25 years and I can count on one hand the representatives that are honest and are looking out for the retailer’s best interests. There have been many times I wanted to buy product lines from Fred that he has expressed that I should pass on because of the lack of sales that would come from these items. He doesn’t look for the quick sale.
I will give you an example of a situation that I had with Fred years back. Fred was representing a spa line that I wanted for a long time, but there was a dealer more than an hour away that did not want me to have, even though we were in a different marketing area. He stood by his dealer even though I wasn’t happy. Looking back, he did the right thing. He protected his dealer.
I would recommend Fred and Blithe Sales to any manufacturer. They are very good for the industry.
